Platinum Engineering is committed to achieving community sustainability. PEL will be a leader through their actions to reduce their ecological footprint and conserve and protect the environment on all projects and the regional community. PEL will integrate social, economic and environmental principles and performance objectives into all project planning and decision making processes to maintain a high quality of life for present and future generations. We believe protection of the environment is a shared responsibility of businesses, government, communities and all individuals.
Platinum Engineering will:
- Ensure environmental considerations are part of all PEL’s decisions and approvals relating to planning, design and construction management.
- Ensure our own policy’s and operations comply with environmental legislation and other environmental requirements. This includes contractors working on our behalf.
- Promote and demonstrate resource conservation and responsible consumption of natural resources including land, energy and water.
- Communicate with all relevant stakeholders for input into the development of our environmental objectives.
- Train, educate and inform employees about environmental issues that may affect their work or how to reduce their ecological footprint and contribute to PEL’s environmental management system.
- Implement and continually seek new ways to improve our environmental performance, meet environmental goals and contribute to responsible community sustainability.
